Manchester, Friday 20 September: BiPhoria will be running a bi outreach stall at the local university student union (Barnes Wallis building), 7pm-9pm.

Manchester, Sunday 22 September: BiPhoria will be hosting a social afternoon for Bi Visibility Day at the LGF centre, Richmond Street. With local bi organising history talk, poster displays, food & drink and more. 2pm-5pm. Facebook event here.

Brighton, Monday 23 September: bis and allies get-together over ice-cream. From 4-6pm at Gelato Gusto in the North Laine (2 Gardner Street, BN1 1UP). Look out for the BothWays flyers and the Bi Cat on the table

Southampton: Southampton Solent University will have a display about bisexuality in the Mountbatten Library from 23-30 September 2013, organised by the LGBT Staff Network, from 23rd – 30th.

Brighton, Tuesday 24 September: “This Is What A Bisexual Looks Like Life Drawing Workshop” from 7-9pm at the Marlborough Theatre above the Marlborough Pub (4 Princes Street, BN2 1RD), hosted by Brighton Bothways.

Manchester, Wednesday 25 September: LGF will be screening a bi themed film and using it as the starting point for a discussion around bi visibility and representation. 6.30pm, LGF centre, Richmond Street.

London, Saturday 28 September: BiFete – 2pm-8pm at Brixton Community Base, £3 entry – details here.

Victora, BC, Monday 23 September, 9am-3pm.  Pride Collective at Camosun College in Victoria, BC will be running a Bi outreach stall near the campus cafeteria.

Dublin, Monday 23 September, 6pm: Bi Irish Dublin / BiVisible Ireland bi visibility stall at the Outhouse.

USA flag USA

Atlanta, Georgia: a Bi Visibility Day celebration will be held in Atlanta from 7-9pm at the Philip Rush Center on Saturday, September 21st from 7-9pm. Attendees are asked to bring a snack and a soft drink to share. A $7 donation is requested to defray the cost of renting the space, but no one will be turned away because of lack of funds. ALL bisexuals and bifriendlies are warmly invited to join the fun and be “invisible no more”!
New York, Saturday 21 September 6pm: “Why Celebrate Bi ? — Five Great Reasons!”  at Queens Pride House in Jackson Heights.  More here:

Los Angeles Bi Task Force hosts “The Bi Chill: 2013 Bi Arts Fest and Social” from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 22nd at The Village at Ed Gould Plaza. $10.00 recommended donation. More info here.

Monday 23rd September in Bakersfield, California: Information table with the game “Nonmonosexual Human or Mythical Unicorn?” from 9-Noon in Bakersfield College Campus Center; Panel discussion on Non-Monosexuality from Noon-12:50, Bakersfield College Campus Center, Fireside Room.  And in the afternoon: join us at Jastro Park Truxtun east of Oak St) at 4:30pm! We’ll rally with our banners, flags and colorful signs then play in the spray and enjoy a relaxing BBQ!
Chicago – Monday 23 September 2013, 7pm-9pm.  Celebrate Bisexuality Day with Bisexual & Queer Alliance of Chicago at Center on Halstead.  Speaker: Wendy Curry; Q&A. More here.

San Francisco, CA – Monday, September 23rd 6pm-10pm. Celebrate Bisexuality Day Event: gather on the Back Patio at El Rio in San Francisco, CA. Free before 9pm, $1 cover after. More info here.
St Paul, MN – Monday 23rd September 7pm – 930pm. Celebration & Community Recognition Awards Ceremony. Chatterbox pub, 800 Cleveland Ave S.  More here.
Washington, DC – Monday, 23 September 2013 from 6:30pm.  The Residence at Thomas Circle, 1330 Massachusetts Ave., NW Washington DC 20005 – First Floor Conference Room.  A representative from Mayor Gray’s office will deliver a special proclamation for the city’s Celebrate Bisexuality Day followed by a panel discussion “Bisexual at Any Age”.

Flint, Michigan – stall with lots of information about Bisexuality on Tuesday and Wednesday September 24 and 25 run by the LGBT Center at the University of Michigan-Flint.
New York, USA: Tuesday September 24th. The Bi group in Westchester County, New York are watching Something for Everyone, an oldie but a goodie: more info here or on facebook here.

Boston – Bi Resource Center have a celebration on Friday, September 27th at the Lir Pub this year on Boylston Street.  They will be handing out Unsung Hero and Bi Ally awards and filling you in on the exciting bi achievements of 2013. Strasbourg – a series of events all week long at La Station (the LGBTI center) at 8 rue des ‘ecrivains, 67000 Strasbourg:

Aix-en-Provence, France, on Monday September 23:  15h30-17h30 : interactive stand on the Cours Mirabeau (Aix-en-Provence’s main street). There will be people to talk with and leaflets.  Then in the Salle Culturelle in the Cité Universitaire de l’Estelan (4-6 boulevard du Maréchal Leclerc, Aix-en-Provence) :
18h15-20h : screening of a movie about bisexuality
20h-20h30 : videoconference with Parisian association Bi’cause.
Followed by presentation and analysis of the results of the first French national poll about bisexuality and bisexuals, organized during the past year by several bi and LGBT associations.

This year sees the first Bi Pride event in Tel-Aviv Israel, on Monday September 23, called המעגל הביסקסואלי (which translates to English as The Bi Circle). There’s a facebook event with more info here.

On Tuesday 24th, again in Tel Aviv, there will be a film screening of  Ze, Zombie. Facebook event here.

 

Mexico flag Mexico

Spain flag Spain

Saturday September 21st, Valencia, Spain: Lambda LGBT network street action will be held in Valencia Pinazo Square (at the exit of the metro Columbus) at 12 noon

Saturday September 21st, Valencia, Spain: Lambda LGBT network host a dinner (C / Albacete No 52) at 20.30 open to all to share food and discuss the current situation of young bisexuals and changes that are occurring.

Netherlands flag The Netherlands

Monday September 23rd, Hague, the Netherlands: bis & allies outing to the movie ‘Unconditional’ that starts at 7.30pm, that the local filmarthouse ‘Filmhuis Den Haag’ is screening. Afterwards, at 9pm, we’ll have a drink in the grand café of this filmhouse. People who didn’t see the film can join us there easily & are very welcome!  More here on Bi-Forum.nl

 

Norway flag Norway

Monday September 23rd, Oslo. The new group in Oslo, Norway, BiFile i Norge (Bisexuals in Norway), is organising their first meeting. The group meets in café Lufthavna, Toftes gate 69, 0552 Oslo, at 18.30. on Monday September 23. They are excited, and we’re excited for them too!

  1. Wish I could be there with ya’ll for the Atlanta event today, but rest assured, I am there in thought and spirit, celebrating my birthday and the repeal (end) of DADT in New Orleans this weekend!
