[USA] Atlanta joins cities and countries around the world to observe International Celebrate Bisexuality Day.
This year, Charis Books and More, one of the oldest independent feminist bookstores in the nation, and Bi*Q ATL, a local advocacy group for bi+ (bi, pan, non-monosexual) people, are jointly presenting a celebration of books by bi+ authors or featuring bi+ characters. Visitors to the store can pick up a reading list of locally available books and browse the shelves for specially marked items from a variety of authors and genres. Books highlighted throughout the month will feature classic works by authors such as Alice Walker and June Jordan, as well as new favorites by Roxane Gay, Daisy Hernandez, and many others.
The reading list will also be available online at charisbooksandmore.com.
